Morphological Characterization and Recognition of New Traits of Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merrill]

چکیده

Distinctness, Uniformity, and Stability (DUS) characterization of ninety recently evolved soybean genotypes including three national checks were carried out at JNKVV, Jabalpur, during Kharif 2021. Sixteen DUS traits evaluated as described by National test guidelines. Observations made on Hypocotyl Pigmentation, Growth type, habitat, Leaf shape, size, colour, Flower Pod hairiness, pub intensity brown Seed coat Hilum Lustre Colour funicle various phases. It revealed that there was a lot variation in the for characters. Frequency distribution data exhibited presence Hypocotyl: anthocyanin pigmentation (65.55 %), Semi-Determinate type (75.55 Semi-erect habitat (90.0 Pointed Ovate shape (83.33 hairiness pubescent (84.44%), size medium (64.44%), colour yellow intermediate (77.77%) (100%) dominating present set genotypes. This germplasm has wide range features morphological variation, which may assist breeder further improvement soybean. will be extremely helpful identifying, conserving developing ideal plant basis distinguishing
